The Journalese
With the Christmas season in full swing, the games never stopped as the second semester events in the UAAP opened on the first week of December. The Growling Tigers, fresh off of their PCCL conquest, also took their talents to the PBA D-League in Blackwater Sports. Here's what you missed in the two weeks of action in the final month of 2012.

Karim Abdul and Ferrer paced Blackwater with 13 markers apiece, while San Sebastian shooter Ronald Pascual had 12 points to lead the road Warriors, which got its unprecedented 24-game winning streak in the D-League snapped by Cafe France two days prior.
With a 4-2 win-loss slate, the Elite is in a four-way tie for second place with Big Chill, Cagayan Valley, and Café France.
